Functional Medicine Health Coach

Position: Full-Time | 1099 Contractor

Location: Must be legally able to practice in both Wisconsin & Florida

Work Environment: 100% Remote – Work from anywhere

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm EST (with flexibility for client sessions)

About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate, organized, and growth-oriented Health Coach with a strong foundation in functional nutrition and a heart for root-cause healing. You’ll wear multiple hats—supporting both the clinical and operational sides of the practice—to help clients feel seen, supported, and successful in their wellness journey.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new patients and provide 1:1 support with nutrition, lifestyle, mindset, and supplements
• Develop personalized plans based on labs, symptoms, and goals
• Manage inboxes, respond to patient questions, and clarify care plans
• Navigate EMRs, client portals, spreadsheets, Canva, and functional labs like DUTCH, GI-MAP, HTMA
• Assist with internal projects, social media ideas, and improving workflows and patient experience 

Requirements

• Board-certified health coach
• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, health sciences, or related field 
• 3+ years experience working in functional medicine or integrative health
• Strong foundation in functional nutrition, gut health, hormones, thyroid, adrenal dysfunction, autoimmunity, PCOS, fertility
• Familiar with functional labs and how to interpret and apply them to care
• Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator
• Able to legally practice in both Wisconsin and Florida
